Last week I signed up Gravity a new site setup by a few guys that used to work at MySpace. As i was using the site I noticed these great little notifications popping up in my browser, Mac users will be familiar with this as they work in the same way as Growl notifications. New Plugins WordPress Timeago Twitter, Facebook, Gmail, and all the big guns are using the fuzzy date/time of type “3 minutes ago”, “10 days ago” etc. Timeago plugin allows you to use the same format on your WordPress blogs. Twitter Avatar Reloaded Twitter avatar reloaded Plugin adds a new field to the comment form to get the user’s Twitter usrename and stores it together with comments and using it replaces gravatar with twitter avatar when the comment is displayed.

Segregating Comments and Trackbacks In Admin Panel?

For quite some time I have been struggling to moderate comments on my technology blog, the problem is not only with an abundance of comments, but also with lots of trackbacks/pingbacks. Now, for me pingbacks are really good, but it adds to a load while moderating comments. I do know that they can be disabled, but I don’t do it for a simple reason, which is to keep track of people who are linking back and sending trackbacks.
